John has a proven track record of success advising political, corporate, and organizational leaders around the world. From winning electoral campaigns to developing strategy and positioning for enterprise, John has rich experience using public opinion research to achieve success.

Guided by a philosophy that winning strategies are about emotions not issues, people not policies, and actions not (just) words, John has helped leaders at all levels sharpen strategy, build winning narratives, and execute with discipline.

Over the years, John has advised leaders at all levels. In politics, John has worked with both incumbents and opposition leaders on 6 continents, helping them win elections at all levels—from Prime Minister to Mayor to European Parliament. In the corporate world, John has built an expertise advising tech companies and foundations—from Microsoft and Google to the CNCF and Cloud Foundry—on both fundamental strategic questions—how do we stay ahead of the next step of digital transformation?—and more terrestrial ones—how do we talk to developers more effectively?

Garrett lives in Denver, CO, with his wife and daughter. When not with his family or traveling, he can usually be found on top of a mountain somewhere.
